We asked women who inspire us to share their thoughts on life, love and beauty. Here are their responses.

What is success to you?
Success to me is always improving – refining your craft or skill or self constantly, the more you learn and grow.

What it magic for you?
Magic for me is the love I feel for my family and friends and for certain places I have been… Some things just fit and there is a spark that can’t be forged.

What is love for you?
Love to me is complete acceptance.

What makes your spirit glow?
hat makes my spirit glow is spending time with my family and in nature. I love forgetting about our daily chores such as cleaning, laundry, etc., and instead packing a picnic lunch and heading to a favorite park to spend some quality time with my 1.5 year old, Luca. It makes my whole self so completely happy to see his wonder in discovering new things.

How do you stay centered in the middle of chaos?
I stay centered in the middle of chaos by keeping lists! I have the worst memory, so if I don’t write something down, I will most likely forget it. I’ve kept a Moleskine notebook for the last 14 years or so, where I keep everything from work orders to grocery lists. I’d be pretty lost without it.

What is your health/beauty practice?
My beauty/health practice is to 1.) Be active! I love running and taking the time out for myself to do so. It’s my “me” time where I can either zone out and clear my head, listening to the most fundamental things – my breath, the wind, birds… Or focus my thoughts a little more to channel my creativity when trying to design a new piece of jewelry. 2.) Eat healthy. I’ve been a pescetarian for almost half of my life, and eating a mostly organic, plant-based diet, supplemented with ethically-produced dairy and wild fish (along with the occasional french pastry, dark chocolate, or locally-made ice cream for good measure, let’s be honest) makes me feel like my body is fueled best. 3.) Hydrate! I have a thing for sparkling water. I can’t get enough! And 4.) Use minimal, all-natural skincare and beauty products. I have replaced almost every item in my beauty routine with organic versions – Feather Eagle Sky being one of my all-time most favorite brands!

What causes/organizations are you passionate about?
I am a big proponent for any cause that supports and protects animals, love equality, women’s reproductive rights, and clean lands.

If you could say one thing to the world what would you say?
If I could say one things for the world to hear, it would be “please, live and let live”.

What had been the greatest lesson as a mother that you’ve learned?
The greatest lesson I have learned as a mother is to slow down and cherish these special moments. I can remember one evening in particular where I was putting my son to bed when he was a tiny little infant, and I just held him a little longer, a little tighter. And told myself to try and remember that feeling, because time just goes by so damn fast!

What advice would you give to a new mother?
The advice I would give to a new mother is to say yes when others offer help. It’s hard to not tidy the house, fold the laundry, prep dinner… Graciously accept your friends’ offers to help with these things. Eat the meals they make for you. Take this time to focus on your new one and yourself, and know that your loved ones are more than happy to be there for you.
