The moment when you look back and accept that it was and will always be love. Looking forward to recognize it in the present moment.
What is your beauty /health practice?
Face oils are essential as I start my day and some super gentle kundalini yoga movement and salt baths with the essential oils and evening hikes in the canyon where I live in Topanga. I feel super renewed from the healing blooming plants that line one of my favorite hikes. I also am loving incorporating my FEATHER EAGLE SKY rare earth face mask into my daily routine.
What makes your spirit glow?
Feeling seen makes my spirit glow, The embrace of nature is particularly potent as is authentic human connection.
How do you stay centered in the middle of chaos?
I either go to the beach, walk on the sand and dose myself with some water. If I can’t go in the ocean, I at least submerge my feet and throw some water over my head, 3x in a quick a potent prayer to the sea, to myself.
What causes /organizations are you passionate about?
Carrying for our waterways and the land surrounding it, empowering women to work and then also empowering the men so that balance in occurs again. I think WAVES FOR WATER is doing an amazing job with their program of disseminating water filters and sharing the simple but effective way to have clean safe drinking water along with WOMENS WATER INITIATIVE and WEA (Women’s Earth Alliance) is a powerful organization that I want to work with more directly.
If you could say one thing to the world what would you say?
Please just breathe, consciously and deeply. And please feel, feel your self, specifically your feet on the earth and look, please look at oneself and one another more deeply, and directly, eye to eye. If we just could stay present and try to see one another than we would be moving closer toward peace and awareness. I keep forgetting to do these life practices myself and when things get whirly…so a reminder to myself and wish to extend the practice outward.
What has been the greatest lesson as a mother you’ve learned?
As someone with 5 planets in Scorpio I can say that death and rebirth is a prevailing theme in my life, in every moment, so be flexible to die and be reborn, into a new self and be there to witness the rebirthing of each other, allow for space to be new again and while holding something solid for each other, by just witnessing perhaps, we can also create space for what may truly be needing light and emergence in one another.
What advice would you give to a new mother?
Being so gentle to yourself in the transition from one self to another is not easy but essential. Not yet a mother and can only imagine that one’s sense of self and consciousness is inextricably connected to a new way of seeing and being in the world. As mother you are connected to a new lineage and an oath to an ancestry and future blood lines open up–what a powerful portal in addition to now being in care of a new being to this planet. As mother to my creations and business I keep learning how to grow along the growing entity and imagine there’s some similarities.
