Goddesses Share Their Secrets
We asked 7 incredible goddesses about their views on love, magic, mothering and the world. Here are their responses.
What is success to you?
Success to me is being able to offer the world something that honors the planet. Also to have a community of goodness around me, reflected by like minded friends. To see my children happy and thriving, to see women loving the products I make.
What is magic for you?
Magic to me is being filled with gratitude and love for my life. I also find the natural world incredibly magic. I was looking at a passion fruit flower in my garden yesterday and I was in complete awe at the magic and beauty that I was seeing in the sacred geometry of the petals. Swimming in rivers, clean oceans, eating fruit fresh from the vine ~ all this is magic. Love is also magic.
What is love for you?
Ahhh love is for me is feeling my heart open beyond what I thought was
possible. This can come from compassion, forgiveness, sexuality, meditation, and being truthful.
What is your beauty /health practice?I try to eat as organically as possible and I drink water that has been energized and filtered. I don’t purchase anything that is made with harmful chemicals. I eat a spoonful of ghee every day and some tonics for balancing hormones. I hike, dry brush, smile alot, plant in the earth and practice Kundalini. I create face masks from my honey bees and avocados. I try to be kind to the world.
What makes your spirit glow?
My spirit glows from happiness which stems from gratitude. Kundalini yoga and drinking Living Tea in the morning can help me connect to my spirit and The Source.
How do you stay centered in the middle of chaos?
Practicing long meditations and challenging myself has helped me build strength. This becomes helpful when life becomes chaotic. Going to White Tantric Yoga and camping in the wilderness these things have been tough at times, but in the end the best training ground for a strong center.
What causes /organizations are you passionate about?
I am passionate about the anti-GMO movement, and anything that helps children in need. I’ve been a part of a charity group called HEART in downtown LA that works with abused women and children for almost 20 years. I am so passionate about preserving our natural world. I really feel we can achieve a new world. We are in the Aquarian Age now and so much is possible. We must keep reaching towards the light, and turning our backs to corporate greed and industrial food companies that are poisoning its citizens.
If you could say one thing to the world what would you say?
I would say to the world “I am a child of yours, and here to serve you”.
What has been the greatest lesson as a mother you’ve learned?
The greatest lesson I’ve learned as a mother is to be present. When we are present and in the moment we can learn so much from our children.
What advice would you give to a new mother?
To new mothers I would say submerge your little ones in the bliss of the natural world.
